Apparently we have our first pet for our new home.  A pure white rabbit has been spotted several times now.  Today he was munching on fallen pears when the boys tried to sneak up on him.  But they weren’t quiet enough.

Today the boys headed to St. Simons to fish and I headed to Statesboro with my Mama to shop.  The boys caught lots of fish, but not a lot of keepers.  And Jesse is tickled pink that he has caught a trout all by himself now but Trey has not.  I got a new mat for Trey’s watercolor that we will be taking to national competition, a couple of new outfits and shoes for myself, and introduced my Mama to Olive Garden.  Can you believe that she has NEVER eaten there until today?!?  My fabulous hubby had the boys bathed when I got home and then headed out to the grocery store & to get take out for supper.  Happy Meals for the boys and Chinese for us.  It was a wonderfully fabulous day!  But not a single photo was taken all day.  See ya tomorrow!

So I didn’t take today’s photo. It comes to us courtesy of my brother in law. But it sums up my boys perfectly. They would rather be doing this than ANYTHING else. In fact, Trey doesn’t want to play soccer this spring because, and I quote, “It interferes with my spring fishing!”

Apparently, I don’t have to worry about the hubs working too hard while we’re at school:-)

We had a fabulously full Saturday.  So much so that I had a hard time picking one photo {or one event} for today.  But when it came right down to it, I just couldn’t resist the look on Jesse’s face in this one!

Yes, it’s January 3rd,  And yes, I still have my Christmas decorations up.  I have NEVER had my decorations up past December 31st.  Well, except for my Willow Tree Nativity.  Which has been on display in my living room for 13 months straight now.  Sigh…

And that’s my dear hubby.  He’s dear this week.  Cause last week he was in a fire.  And burned both arms.  I’m thankful he wasn’t injured worse.  Cause I don’t even want to think about what could’ve been.  And I’m thankful that he’s mending well.  See there…his left arm is slowly becoming bandage free.  Praise the Lord!
