Today Trey built a temple from Bible times using what he has read in the Bible. It is interesting to be able to see how he visualizes & remembers what he reads.

I didn’t take a photo today. Instead I’m sharing a photo from earlier in the month. This is Jesse’s class cross from the silent auction a couple of weeks ago. Each child painted a tile and then they were glued onto the cross. Jesse’s is the fish. Isn’t it just beautiful!

Today we joined the church camp gang at Splash in the Boro! We had a blast! The boys favorite ride was the Flow Rider where you ride a knee board as if you were being pulled by a boat.

Today Trey left for church camp. Jesse was tremendously sad to see him go. Thankfully a lunch date with Mommy and Daddy made the sad boy feel much better!

After church today we traveled to Benton Lee’s Steak House to meet Troy & Jacob Landry from Swamp People. We arrived around 1:15 and the boys and I took our place in the gigantically long line. We waited in that line through the heat & rain for 3 1/2 hours!!! And after all that, we didn’t make it inside to actually meet the duo!!! But they did come out and greet everyone before they left. And all three of us got to shake their hands. Troy even spoke to Jesse! The boys, especially Trey, were ecstatic and that’s what it was all about. And after waiting in line all that time…today you get two photos!

After our VBS closing program we held a silent auction to raise money for our CTS competition next month. Each Wednesday night class made a class project that was auctioned off, along with lots of other stuff. Trey’s class made this cool dragonfly mirror. I think it will look great in our green frogs and dragonflies bathroom!
