Honor’s Day for my big boy…Principal’s List, and awards for having a 100 average for the year in math, history, spelling, science, and Bible, as well as the Most Curious Student award and a superior rating in watercolor painting at the GACS Fine Arts Festival.  I’m so proud of the young man that he is becoming.

One of our major fundraisers at school each year is a Christmas card (& wrapping paper & candy) sale.  Today the students who sold at least 10 items were rewarded with a trip to the bowling alley.  Oh what a fun time we had!

Instead of an egg hunt, this year the 4th grade did a scavenger hunt.  We broke into three teams and raced all over town looking for the twenty items on our list.  It included things like a plastic fork, a church bulletin, a picture of the city limits sign, etc. and we had blast getting all twenty!!!  Here is my group marking “picture of group in front of a memorial” off our list.

Tonight was our annual school auction.  This year the kids did a few numbers from “Down on the Creek Bank” and Trey had a scene where he was demonstrating echoes.  He really got into his part and did a fantastic job…even if I am a bit biased!
