November 2012

November was a busy month full of precious memories for us…

we worked on our new house…a lot!

Jesse learned to ride a two wheel bike!

Trey’s 4H fair project placed 1st!

We adopted a new kitten.

We learned to make cheese during our 4H meeting.

We also created Christmas cards for soldiers during 4H.

We went to the fair.  And ran into some old friends.  It was the best time!

We had fun times with our cousins and friends.

We had a great time at the Pioneer Harvest Festival.

We examined pond scum.  And learned how to make soap!

We celebrated Rigdon turning ONE!

We had TWO yummy Thanksgiving dinners with family!

And.  We got two hogs.

Wow!  What a month!

Mrs. Pumpkin and Her Eggs.  Trey’s entry into the 4H Pumpkin Decorating Contest.  Trey worked very hard on this project and Mrs. Pumpkin received the prize for Most Unusual!  I am so proud of my big boy!

Trey has thoroughly enjoyed participating in 4H this year and he particularly enjoys Robotics Club each Tuesday afternoon.  National 4H week is this week and to celebrate there was a special science project activity this afternoon.  Teams of three built a brainless robot from a toothbrush to clean up an oil spill.  Trey loved it and was so excited to bring his ecobot home!

Today Trey was oh so excited to be elected reporter.

Today Trey wrote down everything that was said.

Today Trey told me 15 THOUSAND times that he wanted to do EVERY activity that he possibly could.

Today we made rockets out of straws.

Today Jesse’s straw rocket flew further than any of the big boys’ rockets.

Today we attended our first 4-H meeting.

And it was a complete success!
