The hubs & I have recently become addicted to Words with Friends.  Which means that the boys have also become addicted.  Thankfully though, they still like the old fashion board game too!

Today was our field trip to the Baxley fire station!  The boys loved it!  And even better was lunch & playtime with our friends at Burger King afterwards.

Today we finally got back to our discussion of the Sumerians.  And we made our very own cuneiform tablets out of clay!  The boys loved working with the clay, and Trey especially got into it.  After making his tablet, he tried his hand at bowl making!

Tonight the boys “camped” out in the playroom & watched t.v. until really late.  There was a new episode of Gravity Falls on and they couldn’t wait to watch it!  And then I let Jesse edit the photo however he wanted.  He was so excited!

Wednesday afternoons are spent at piano lessons.  Today while each brother was doing his lesson, the other brother explored Ms. Barbara’s backyard and worked on completing their science scavenger hunt.

Jesse was very proud of the cocoon that we found.  One item checked off!

Tonight we made gliders for a science experiment.  The boys each had to hypothesize which glider would go further…the one with the long, skinny wings or the one with the short, fat wings.

The glider with long, skinny wings went farther, but, not by much!

Today we talked about the Sumerians during history.  Afterwards we built our very own ziggurats.

Today Trey was oh so excited to be elected reporter.

Today Trey wrote down everything that was said.

Today Trey told me 15 THOUSAND times that he wanted to do EVERY activity that he possibly could.

Today we made rockets out of straws.

Today Jesse’s straw rocket flew further than any of the big boys’ rockets.

Today we attended our first 4-H meeting.

And it was a complete success!
